Chairperson: Mrs. Bina Kak (Former
Minister of Tourism for the Govt. of Rajasthan and
an artist by interest). |

Director: Mrs. Deepak Kalra
(Parent and Trained Professional) – An expert
trained in India and overseas with more than 23
years of experience in the field of disability. She
has headed numerous projects of national repute. Her
motivation, commitment and inspiration to work for
the cause are drawn from her personal experiences as
a mother of 25-year-old child with cerebral palsy. |

Management Committee |
|
The primary concern of the management committee is to
ensure delivery of quality services alongside transparency
and accountability. It participates in all the major
decisions regarding planning, organizing, financial
management and other issues. All major decisions are made
in consultation with the management committee. A core team
of experts and parent members constitute the management
committee.

Parent
Members include Mrs. Raniwala, Mr. Anil Chaplot,
and Mr. Wadhwani - elected by the parent group as
representative who actively participate in the management
committee.

Mrs. Kaumudi Kumari |
A
special educator – trained in Mumbai and has devoted
more than 20 years to the field of disability. As
the wife of the Chief of Naval Chief staff she was
associated and ran the Naval Special Schools called
‘Sankalp’, all over India. |

Mr. Ravi Hooja |
He has
extensive experience in banking and professional
training in the field of disability to his credit.
He takes interest in the rights of persons with
disabilities and has an extensive knowledge of
provisions, policies and Acts related to disability
in India.. |

Ms. Meenakshi Srivastava |
Just
completed her masters’ inclusive education whilst
studying various models of inclusion in UK, Holland
and Czech Republic. She has worked with children in
classroom, coordinated staff training programs and
conducted parent training and counseling for over 10
years. |

Ms.
Kamini Rai |
has over
10 years experience in special education with
expertise in coordinating special schools and
academic programs. |
|
Ms.
Pamila Jain |
Has
trained persons with special needs in vocational
training and functional education for over 10 years
– some of whom are gainfully employed; a very
efficient coordinator of the work-training unit. |

Ms.
Sharmila Sankhla |
Parent
of a teenager with cerebral palsy – trained herself
as special educator and language trainer- proactive
in advocacy and liaison. |

Experts
Umang is supported by the most qualified and highly
experienced team of experts in Rajasthan with 5 to 23
years of experience in the filed. The specialized team of
full-time 30 members consists of special educators,
qualified academic teachers, physiotherapists, speech and
language experts, occupational therapists, psychologists,
artists, yoga trainers, theatre experts and qualified
vocational trainers. Other experts include counselors,
neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, pediatricians etc.
Trained caregivers form an essential part of Umang who
cater to the individual needs of the students. |
